Waehrend Mr. H. ganz fleissig auf
mein Genoergel meinen Wunsch hin das frei gewordene Zimmer gestrichen hat, habe ich mich anderen Sachen als mit ihm auf dem Sofa luemmeln beschaeftigt. Fluegge gewordende Sproesslinge ergeben ganz andere Moeglichkeiten der Raumaufteilung. Sollte sich noch einer absetzen, ist dieses Haus definitiv zu gross! gave into my nagging followed my wish and diligently painted the spare room, I busied myself with other things then just lolling on the sofa with him. Offspring's moving out result in new possibilities in utilizing rooms. If another one off them is relocating this house will be way to big. kleine Alubaelle gerollt - rolled little aluminum balls
zwei Haehnchen enthaeutet - skinned two chicken
und anschliessend mit Gewuerzen eingerieben -
and rubbed in spices after that
Chemiker gespielt (mehr dazu in einem anderen Post) -
played chemist (more info in a different post)
Toaster-Waffeln gefuttert
munched toaster waffles
Haehnchenreste abgepuhlt -
made pulled chicken with leftovers
zwei frisch gebackene Brote aufgeschnitten -
cut up two fresh backed loafs of bread

Ja, die Alubälle verwundern mich auch ^^ ...
ReplyDeleteWir haben meist erwachsene Hühner aus dem Afrikaladen gekauft, die schmecken einfach besser als die sonst in 6 Monaten hochgezüchteten Standard Hähnchen :)

How did your chicken turn out? I tried one of those recipes on Pinterest and it was awful! Was like dried out dishrag. Now, I have to say that some things I have tried from Pinterest have turned out well, but others - well, I wonder where in the world they got the pictures they posted on line! (Know what I mean?) Did they use photo shopping? Real good editing? I don't know, but that is one of the reasons I don't edit my photos - what you see is the REAL thing. Hope you have a fabulous weekend my friend.

You sure have been busy this week - I am lucky to just get dinner made - I have so many projects that are started but not finished. We will get it together yet - it will be easier when Lorelai can sit up on her own and play a little while without having to be entertained. It won't be too much longer - and I can imagine there will be the day that I wish she was little and in my arms again!

wie geht es euch? sicher schon schön kalt an der ost-küste.
hier ist jetzt definitiv seit freitag kalt geworden. am donnerstag hatten wir noch 25 grad, schon am nächsten tag runter auf 7!
ich habe ja gott sei dank eine schöne sonnige winterunterbrechung in sicht.
